TVR Vixen S2 1970
Car History
One of the last S2’s to be made in 1970, before the production of the S3 in the same year.
In the late 80’s EWX 866H became a race car, racing in the HSCC (Historic Sports Car Club). Racing and testing at many circuits to include Penbrey in South Wales, Brands Hatch and the old Goodwood circuit.
The rebuild so far!
New Chassis, wish bones and new modified uprights all rebuilt with poly bushes.
Bodywork striped of all paint, light weight doors added then refinished in Daytona Yellow. Etch prime x2 and top coat x6.
New brake callipers and brake lines.
New steering rack.
Rebuilt diff and new diff mounts.
Cameron Gilmour rebuilt original crossflow engine to 1700cc Stage 3.
Lightened and balanced.
Big valve head, gas flowed etc.
Performance pistons.
